The idea behind Stocky is to create a web community with a new take on stock media (stock photos / videos / designs / etc). Stocky will be a new environment where creators share content and pull together their resources with other creators. Because many people already share their work on their own blogs and sites, it will be easy for designers, artists and anyone else to join, create and collaborate with others.

Stocky’s goal is to unite the mass of great free content and separate it from the monotonous; This way the quality work that’s shared will be easier to discover, download and use. As the quality work unites, stocky becomes an address for hosting the work you share, and a place for you to collaborate with others.

As far as content goes, all mediums will be allowed. This includes photography, videos, vectors, brushes, fonts, templates, audio and more.

In order to fund hosting, development and design of Stocky – help will be needed from people who love the idea is much as I do. Plus, contributions will be rewarded with prizes on our kickstarter page.
